Dental Inlays and Onlays – a Healthier, Woodlands Alternative to Metal Fillings

So many people have never heard of dental inlays and onlays, much less experienced their comfort and beauty. Inlays and onlays are one of my favorite restoration options because they are so conservative, strong and beautiful. They contain no unhealthy metals and they are placed on the tooth instead of pressed into it. I use them for cavity repair, to fix a damaged tooth and to strengthen weak or breaking teeth. And when people come to me to replace their metal fillings, inlays and onlays are often my replacement of choice because they look and feel surprisingly natural. In fact, they blend with your natural tooth so well, some people forget which tooth they were placed in!
